Despite the lack of true topics, this was still a very cool podcast. “EEVFlog”, it that a place where folks in the tech industry get verbally flogged by the host?
So, you guys mentioned where people get their news and it looks like the EEVBlog is one of the top places for folks to get that info. Well, according to Jack Ganssele’s The Embedded Muse newsletter.
The AMP hour is not mentioned, but the EEVBlog is much higher in the rating than Embedded.fm.

Thanks guys.

Definitely with Chris on not watching the debunking videos, however, kudos to Dave for taking it on as a champion for the ignorant, there are plenty of ignorant, uninformed people in the world. Plus, I guess it garners more views for his YT channel when he does these, maybe?
Tony the DIYer says
Oh, yes, a comment edit button would be nice… I wanted to add my thanks for your show. I enjoy listening to your views, and you mix it up nicely.
I would like to see a segment of the show talking about your views on the current state of the design side of electronics; i.e. where it is, where it is trending. You often touch the fringes of this, however, not much depth.
A live call-in show would be great, but, only announcing on Reddit or twitter will leave dinosaurs like me who do not have Redditt or twitter or FB will be left out. Why not set the date time and announce on AmpHour (or your own YT or forum pages?) I always miss Dave’s live YT shows because of this.
Thanks again for the show, guys.

Great show!! I particularly liked the part where Chris and Dave made a thought experiment about how to design a low power bluetooth device!
I would love to here more about how you guys would design other products. Maybe also a cool question to ask guests?!

Really liked the design discussion .Maybe you could take common things and tell us how you would go about designing them? Also different areas, like industrial, consumer, medical, automotive etc.
I also second the comment about your views of the state of the electronics industry

Just wanted to say that i really like the designing a product part of this episode. Especially hearing about different design considerations that I would not have thought about.
