While I was listening to this I found the following funny, to me at least:
\LaTeX\ spawned from TeX, which was one of the brainy things Donald Knuth has done out of a need to typeset mathematical expressions better.
Funny thing is Donald Knuth is also the author of the 4-5 volume tome “The art of computer programming” where I’d argue the best reading plan, in the form of a control flow chart I’ve ever come across

While I type this I think the flow chart is applicable to a lot of things, especially the decision box “Interesting ?”
ps if you want to try basic \LaTeX\ then just use “profesional\expert” mode in MS word equation editor.
