After a year’s worth of shows (if you listen to one episode per day), we decided to do a replay of episode 1 of The Amp Hour. Spot any themes that have continued on for all 7+ years worth of episodes?

I’m not sure if this is best place to post a comment, but this was very cool. I have not gone back to listen to the original eps yet so this was a nice surprise. Congrats on making it to #366.
It was really cool to hear what you guys sound like back a few moons ago and one thing that did stand out for me was Chris’ voice. I realize it was a bit ago but dude you sound like your voice was sped up like a South Park character. Perhaps I am just used to how you sound now, but it did sound much different. However, the chemistry and the passion you guys share for the tech field was very evident from that very first episode. Unlike many other Fledgling podcasts, you guys had great energy and were genuinely excited about what you were chatting about. I suspect this passion for Tech had something to do with the longevity and success of The Amp Hour and I certain hope it continues for many years to come.
Thanks for posting this and now I just have to go back to the beginning and bing listen all of the eps.
You guys Rock!
Cheers,
Jon

Great run so far, helps me get through some slow nights.
As a side note, I’ve been meaning to mention this forever: if you have any control on the embedded player, please set css width : 100%, I keep doing this using F12 because an hour on 30 pixels is hard to seek when you missed something. ^^
Keep it up!

It is interesting how somethings change while others do not. You guys mentioned in the first ep that TI was launching a $4.30 MSP Launchpad and recently they offered their latest MSP430FR2433 LaunchPad for $4.30 as an introductory offer. Hum, I wonder if they were listening to The AMP Hour when deciding this. Also, GPIB and/or HPIB was mentioned in the episode and oddly enough I still work with these protocols where I work now. It is also not uncommon to see Test Equipment in a test ring that is from 1984 or earlier.
