I have listened to every episode! I think I started at episode 83. I then went back and listened to the rest from the beginning.
Dr. Mabuse says
Hey Dave . Your always banging on about the bloody Yanks this or that. Well should I refer to you as a banana-bender or a cornstalk? I’m just another bloody “Yank” who supports your site via YouTube hits. “Yank” is so down stream. Just call your largest audience that supports you’re Aussie ass as “Americans”. Get it? Advice from an old “greybeard” engineer who was prototyping circuits before
you shorted an outlet / “mains”, and discovered that electricity was cool. BTW, U.S. style a.c. cords
have never been a problem in the 50 or so years that I’ve used them. So, bugger off.
Matt says
As an Aussie, call us what you like. Convict, whatever. Banana Bender is the wrong state, and I’ve never heard of cornstalk before. Half the country call Americans Yanks. It’s not derogatory, it’s part of our nature to shorten everything we say. No need to get your knickers all in a knot.
Jason says
People are so sensitive these days. I am American. Call me whatever you want Dave!
Brandon says
Funny thing about the use of “Yank”, it refers to a lot of different things:
To foreigners, a Yankee is an American.
To Americans, a Yankee is a Northerner.
To Northerners, a Yankee is an Easterner.
To Easterners, a Yankee is a New Englander.
To New Englanders, a Yankee is a Vermonter.
And in Vermont, a Yankee is somebody who eats pie for breakfast.
Chris Gammell says
Um, this is awesome.
CorruptCuClad says
Chris, your drunk aren’t you.
Seriously though, great show. Mr. Grey Beard proud to be an american needs realize that his attitude is the problem people have with us.
Chris Gammell says
Wouldn’t say drunk, there may have been a glass of wine or two involved. Recording at night has its benefits.
CorruptCuClad says
I would probably need a couple glasses of wine of to feel confident and social enough to record an hour+ show each week myself.
You both did a great job.oThanks for another fun episode. Also glad to hear that you are making some changes, like the no more naming & reinstating some of the educational segments like chip of the week.
Rogerx3 says
Fun episode, I was laughing all the way through.
Rick Bliss says
Love the show, long time listener (1.6 years)… i have to admit: a part of me is elated with the non-alliteration move. 20% increase to shows value (monetarily of 0, of course)
Chris Gammell says
We take checks written out to the “Bank of Boodled Baboonery”
Rick Bliss says
Check is in the mail!
Derek says
Soooo, how much coffee did Chris drink?
Chris Gammell says
Wine
Dr. Mabuse says
Hey. I knew something was different about Chris in this episode. He had a “buzz” on and cut loose with
what was on his mind. Because Chris was so much more talkative and less deferential to Dave’s
banging on, over and over about one of his usual pet peeves, I found the show more entertaining.
It’s too bad Dave doesn’t drink. I’d love to listen to a show where both Dave and Chris are “lit-up”
on booze. It would be hilarious!(or disastrous?) Other wise I’ll still settle for the occasional “stitch and bitch” between the two when there is no guest. Chris and Dave, ya gotta love’em.

I’ve listened to all of the amp hour (i drive a lot for work so i usually RUN OUT of podcasts), and i’ve seen all of dave’s videos, i binged on them during the massive floods here a few years ago when there was nothing to do but wait.
